The members of the Interreg CPES pilot project Lac au Duc participated this Sunday in the anniversary of the 10 years of the association Polen on the basis of leisure Taupont. This association created in 2009 is composed of more than 240 committed citizens who carry a message around individual behavior and our impact on the environment; offering alternatives for more responsible consumption.
In 2009, citizens of the region of Ploërmel felt the need to gather around values related to the environment. It is in this spirit of openness and collegiality that Polen was born. This day of September 22, 2019, was an opportunity to recall the need to spread this message by discovering the many ways in which everyone can invest.
Coming with our microscope and a water sample from Lac du Duc of the morning, we sensitized the participants to the issues related to water quality and the means that we could implement to try to reduce the proliferation of cyanobacteria in lake.
