24 April 2019
Until today, communications for the INTERREG CPES project were under the responsibility of the Grand Bassin de l'Oust Syndicate (SMGBO) represented by its director Patrick Latouche. Communications were implemented by Julia Cadic, Communication Officer recruited by the SMGBO, in partnership with Will Roberts of the University of Chichester.
For technical reasons the SMGBO has had to transmit this responsibility to the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), another partner of the INTERREG CPES project.
This transfer was formalized at a meeting held at SMGBO offices on the 24th of April 2019, with CNRS being represented by Gérard Gruau, Research Director who will henceforth be responsible for CPES communications. Responsibility for implementing communications was also transferred between Julia Cadic and Mélanie Poulain, Julia Cadic not having wished to continue to fulfill the functions of Communication Officer of the project. The meeting was an opportunity to commend the very high quality of the work done so far by Julia.
Holder of two masters degrees (one in Economics and Management in Agriculture and Politics of Developing Countries, and another in Humanities and Social Sciences - International Economic Affairs), Mélanie Poulain has five years of professional experience in the field of communication, including three years spent as the head of the communication and animation for the NGO “Attac France”.
